As a ride sharing driver, you are required to maintain auto insurance that meets your state's minimum financial responsibilities. This requirement can be fulfilled with either personal or commercial auto insurance.

Once the Call a Ride app is on, our contingent liability coverage is designed to provide coverage when the app is in driver mode before you’ve received a ride request in the event your personal insurance does not respond. The policy limits of insurance of $50,000 of bodily injury coverage per person, $100,000 of bodily injury coverage per accident and $25,000 of property damage liability coverage per accident. Drivers who have a livery or limo business must maintain all compulsory licensing and commercial insurance requirements in accordance with state or local law.

Note: If you already carry commercial insurance or personal coverage providing specific coverage for ridesharing Call a Ride's policy will continue to excess to your insurance coverage. Having commercial ( or ridesharing coverage where available) can add value and possibly save drivers money in certain situations. This is something to consider when driving.
