The Rider may ask you to wait when you arrive to pick them up. Let them know you'd be happy to. The ride won't start until you've tapped the start ride button.

CAR’s cancellation policy requires you to wait 5 minutes after you have arrived, but you're welcome to wait as long as you feel necessary. Remember, at CAR you have the ability to adjust the your fare, or you can notify the Rider that you are starting the ride because you are paid by time. You can also negotiate a wait time fee. It’s your business, your hourly rate and your time. NOTE: If you wait longer than 5 minutes and cancel as a no-show, you'll receive the cancellation fee. But at CAR, we encourage you to treat the Rider as if they are always a repeat Riders.
