CAR’s app forces all Drivers to inspect their vehicle before you take another Rider. The Driver has 3 minutes to check the vehicle for lost items and damage to the vehicle. All Drivers need to take a picture of the lost item and include a message that will be sent via text and email to the Rider in real time. We advise all Drivers to also call the Rider if they find lost items so they can return them immediately. This saves time and increases the Driver's odds for repeat rides from that Rider.

If a Rider leaves something in your vehicle, and you cannot get a hold of the Rider right away to return the item, or if the Rider cannot get a hold of the Driver, they can always contact Customer Support and CAR will text you within 72 hours.
