ADJUSTING THE FARE

The CAR platform puts the Drivers in total control of their business by giving them the ability to adjust their fares. This gives the Driver freedom to offer discounts to Riders for traffic, repeat business, waiting periods for appointments or shopping, daily and weekly rates, etc. The Driver has the ability to adjust the fare up as well as down for situations such as parking or tolls that may not have been added into the Rider's fare. The Rider needs to accept the adjusted fare at the end of the ride. Drivers need to be aware of this and should advise the Rider of the change in fare and that they need to accept the changes before the Driver adjusts any fare. When the fare is adjusted, it will appear as a single line item on the receipt.
